ROLE

Purpose

Role necessitates responsibility for the management of product complaints as well as the upkeep of technical documentation and issuing these to customers when requested in a timely manner. The position allows for the incumbent to play an important technical role within the wider business.

Responsibilities

General

• Promoting customer excellence throughout the business.
• Ensure customer technical requests are satisfied in a timely manner.
• To manage product complaints.

Specific

• To manage customer product complaints and non-conformances by liaising with suppliers and customers to ensure investigations are carried out to completion in line with good practice.

• To collate and interrogate monthly product complaint data and then distribute accordingly across the business.

• To issue technical documentation covering products and suppliers, as requested by internal and external customers, in a timely manner with all requests being recorded and organised appropriately for future reference.

• Assisting with the maintenance of an up-to-date database of all specifications.

• Assisting in the compilation of comprehensive, legally compliant, Company Select customer version product specifications and data sheets.

• Assisting with testing of Company Select products in line with the testing schedule set, to ensure suppliers continuously deliver to the specification and packaging artwork agreed and to the quality attributes set.

• Assisting with pack copy information regarding legal, nutrition and labelling matters for the creation of artwork for Company Select products. To liaise with the artwork studio and suppliers to drive a ‘right first time’ attitude to ensure the process meets deadlines set.

• Update the Company Select website.

• Ensuring new or revised specifications from suppliers are effectively communicated throughout the customer base.

• Working cross-functionally with other teams in providing technical support for the timely delivery of new or existing product development projects from early inception to product launches.

CANDIDATE

You will have experience in Technical/Quality within the Food Manufacturing sector. Food Science Degree or equivalent is desirable but not essential. Career progression prospects are good for the right candidate.
