ROLE
Due to ongoing business development, they are looking for an experienced Senior Office Administrator to provide exceptional all-round administrative, customer service, project management and office-related support.
This is a busy and dynamic role which will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to put their existing administrative and organisational expertise to good use – whilst working across multiple areas of the business and undertaking a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities.
Ultimately reporting into the Office Manager, the successful candidate will need to wear many hats and demonstrate adaptability to provide support wherever it is required across the Company. This includes, but is by no means limited to, supporting our Sales Team with incoming and outgoing phone calls, taking meeting minutes, planning and facilitating employee and client meetings, right through to supporting the management team in the development and implementation of Company projects.
CANDIDATE
• Extensive experience of working in a similar role successfully undertaking a wide variety of higher-level administrative tasks
• An excellent head for numbers and the ability to interpret and report data as requested
• Excel – Intermediate/Advanced level
• Fast and accurate touch-typing skills – 55 words per minute
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills including an excellent telephone manner
• IT skills with a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and other applications such as Adobe
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, within all levels of the business and to external parties
• Proven track record of planning, organisation and time management and the ability to execute tasks and projects in a logical and efficient manner
• Confidence working with senior management, clients and customers and all other members of staff
• Capable of delivering results and meeting both internal and external stakeholder expectations
• Self-motivated and tenacious with a positive outlook
• Well organised with great attention to detail
• An understanding and full commitment to the highest levels of confidentiality
• Knowledge of Sage / ERP Systems would be advantageous
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• A flexible and can-do approach with the ability to handle change effectively
• Project management experience and skills

• Annual profit-share
• 22 days annual leave entitlement plus Bank Holidays (increasing to 25 days at the beginning of the holiday year following completion of one year’s continuous service) – pro-rated for part time hours

This role is permanent, working a minimum of 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. There can be some flexibility in the days and times of work for the right candidate. The postholder will be office based and due to the nature of the role there is no opportunity for hybrid working. They are in a rural location, so own transport is a must.
