NPD Technician, Cambridgeshire
Job Description
My client is in need of Food Science Graduate looking to start off their career with a Brilliant FMCG Company, no specific experience required.
You’ll be responsible for assisting the growing NPD department bringing concepts to life from the kitchen to launch. Working with major retailers and Food-service.
We are looking for a team player with a can-do attitude
• To support the NPD manager with development of recipes from product brief to launch
• To support and lead sample preparation, making up recipes and filling sample bottles
• Support production trials for both NPD and EPD projects
• Assist with validation of new raw materials and/or suppliers
• Assist in conducting market research to identify trends, customer preferences and competitor analysis to support product development
• Conduct product testing and evaluation, including sensory analysis, shelf-life testing and nutrition
• Support the team in resolving any technical issues or challenges that arise during the product development process.
Required Skills:
• An interest in New Product Development
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse groups with an emphasis on team members with different backgrounds or skill sets.
• Strong organisational skills
• Happy to lift heavy bottles
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
