NPD Product and Process Manager - Medical Nutrition, Home Based

My client need a Product and NPD Manager to enable the company to achieve its ambitions in New Product Development, product enhancement and launch strategies.
You will be responsible for identifying new suppliers and contract packers to achieve the best manufacturing partners whilst protecting long term interests and contingency supply for the business. You will be responsible for managing the product development process working closely with the marketing team, following a process driven approach to ensure quality and KPIs achieved at all times. You will provide technical expertise to ensure new product developments are optimised according to project objectives, whilst adhering to regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Degree in Food Science or related subject plus a minimum of 5 years’ experience in product development in a related or comparable industry.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing processes and practices.
• Understanding of ISO9001 principles and process. Experience of project management in a new product development environment in a related industry

Salary 55-65K
