Junior Import & Purchasing Planner

The Role
As part of the purchasing team, you will be responsible for managing the complete European supplier cycle for your sector. Your duties will include.
• Purchasing materials from your EU suppliers and managing the OTIF delivery to 3PL warehouses.
• Manage the import documentation (bit of export) along with order processing, stock management & raising PO’s
• Booking transport for imports to 3PL’s and look for cost savings.
• Liaising with internal departments such as warehousing, customer service & sales
Your Skills & Experience
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and be a team player. You will also need.
• Experience of import documentation, customs declarations, commodity codes etc…
• Ability to analyse data
• Excellent supplier management skills
• Tech savvy with high understanding of Microsoft suite inc Excel
