Job Description:
As a Hygiene Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the food production facilities. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective hygiene practices and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and safeguarding the quality and safety of products.

Responsibilities:

Develop and enforce hygiene policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices, company guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hygiene hazards and take immediate corrective actions.
Oversee the cleaning and sanitation of all equipment, production areas, and storage facilities.
Manage and train a team of hygiene staff, ensuring their adherence to proper hygiene protocols and safety regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to ensure seamless coordination of hygiene activities.
Monitor and evaluate hygiene-related performance metrics, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and provide recommendations for process optimization.
Stay updated on industry trends, new regulations, and technological advancements related to food hygiene and sanitation practices.
Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards and certifications.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in a similar hygiene management role within the food industry.
Sound knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and hygiene best practices.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Proficient in using hygiene management software and other relevant tools.
Certification in food hygiene and safety (e.g., Level 3 Food Hygiene, HACCP certification) is highly desirable.
