Role:
To Implement Corporate HR strategy plans, policies, practices and budgets which support the achievement of the business strategic aims and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of colleagues’ training and development.
To Provide an effective succession plan and process which sources the right talent to achieve business goals
To Coach managers to take responsibility for leading, managing and developing their staff, to optimise their effectiveness and potential
To Monitor, measure and report on staff training and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales
To Be the point of contact to advise the Management team with general ER advice on day- to-day issues such as poor performance, exits, sickness, maternity etc
To contribute to the development of the site (HR) budget.
To Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets
Responsible for effective and efficient operational performance of area of responsibility’s activities
Requirements:
knowledge and experience in employment law, employee relations, safety and training and development
Proven years of relevant HR experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Understanding of all aspects of HR Management industry including resourcing, succession, performance management
Problem solving and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with people at all levels
Salary: Up to £50,000
Shift: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (Flexible)
