ROLE
Reporting into the Group H&S Manager, you will be part of a team leading the Company sustainability plan. Driving the business towards its goal of Net Zero by 2035. You will maintain the Company Environmental Management system (EMS) to the ISO14001 standard and ensure legal compliance across all sites. It will be your responsibility to ensure that performance monitoring is in place, records are maintained, and improvement plans implemented. Based at the Lincoln site with occasional travel (Once every 2 months) to the Southwest and Scotland sites as required. Team of 4, working alongside health and safety team.
CANDIDATE
Environmental qualification: Preferred
IEMA Membership: Preferred
Previous environmental & sustainability experience: Essential
Familiar with ISO 14001 and clauses set out in the standard: Preferred
Experience dealing with external auditors: Essential
Experience dealing with waste water and water discharge consents: Essential
Knowledge of environmental permitting: Preferred
Proactive, with an ability to operate on own initiative: Essential
Strong communication skills with an ability to successfully influence and engage others: Essential
Strong interpersonal and team working skills: Essential
Strong Microsoft Word/PowerPoint skills: Essential
You may be a Graduate looking for your first role or you may be looking to build on previous experience.
