They are well respected within the industry supplying customers within hospitality, retail, healthcare, and education sectors. Our client’s core focus is ensuring the customer is at the centre of everything they do and their passion for the food and hospitality sector shines through.

The Role
The Butchery BDM role is a pivotal position with our client’s sales strategy. You will be in charge of opening new business avenues as well as developing existing accounts to create long-term enhance the butchery service offering within the region.

You’ll have a wide array of duties including:
• Building strong relationships across new and existing accounts to maximise commercial revenue within butchery sales.
• Building strong working relationships with the Sales Team and Butchery Division.
• Growing the customer base through effective prospecting. Converting sales leads into trading accounts.
• Adding value in every call through effective range selling, margin enhancement, and menu planning. Maintaining a professional approach and attitude.
• Always looking for ways to improve our offering to customers and to tailor your approach to customer requirements where possible.
• To monitor territory performance and regularly analyse customer reports.
• Working within pricing guidelines.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need:

• Butchery background and expertise which enables you to have complex conversations with Head Chefs and key contacts about meat
• A highly driven, sales oriented mindset
• Either enjoy new business and opening new accounts, or have a desire to do so
• To have strong knowledge of the meat and butchery sector
• A full clean driving licence
